Species Guidance

Species Conservation Guidance

Species conservation guidance documents provide information to improve conservation efforts of endangered and threatened species. The peer-reviewed documents are based on an extensive review of literature and consultation with biologists, researchers, land managers, and other interested stakeholders

Purpose

The purpose of these species guidance documents is to provide various project developers and land managers with information on the species, how their actions may impact the species, and how they can best minimize, mitigate, and monitor those impacts. The documents are also the first step towards recovery planning.
