General Scientific - Permits
The General Scientific permit is required for any project that involves Research (handling or collection of live fish and wildlife for educational or research purposes) or Salvage (collection of dead or crippled fish or wildlife for educational or research purposes). This permit does not authorize research on endangered or threatened species (see Permit for Possession of Endangered or Threatened Species).
