Volunteers
Volunteers are crucial to the success of Natural Heritage programs. We value our volunteers from all levels of experience and all areas of expertise. We accept individuals, community groups, schools, and service organizations. Volunteers are welcome to volunteer as much or as little as they would like, all help is appreciated. The Natural Heritage division needs volunteers to assist with seed collection, tree and shrub planting, trail maintenance, plant and animal surveys, shorebird surveys, and many other programs.
If you love nature and enjoy working with others who have a passion for protecting our natural resources, volunteering with Natural Heritage may be right for you.
Volunteer application and opportunities are listed on our main DNR site here
